Painting Iroc, How much?

Painting Iroc, How much?

Im redoing the paint on my 1989 Iroc. I wanna replace the stock red paint, I am wondering where is a good place to get the paint, and what is the recommended amount of base coats and clear coats, and about how much the paint will cost?

When I painted my Bfs '70 Chevelle we only bought a gallon.There is still plenty left over.The paint job included all the jambs, under the deck lid,and all the small parts(grill,valances,etc).
Please check out the urethane base/clear line that Summit offers.Its very inexpensive.

I use a local paint supply shop for my stuff, but you definitely will have more than enough with a gallon. Same thing here...painted my '89 T/A under the hood, hood, deck lid, door jams, aero wing, louvers, etc...everything and had easily a pint and half left over...probably a quart. This was single stage though...base/clear may be a bit different, but I would say similar consumption for the base coat at least.
