Hey guys I was driving down the road and the bolts fell out of my hood latch the safty latch caught it but it bent the metal some . Also when I pull the hood release it wont pop up like it should. Help please. What would be proper way to fix this?

 

Is the cable functioning? Is it releasing the hood latch, but it just won't pop up? What was bent, the hood (around the hood catch) or on the body (around the latch mechanism)?
Might also be a latch alignment issue.

 

The cable worrks juwont pop up also have to shake hood to open and when closing I have to hold safety latch I cant remember whether shop replaced hood or not.
