So I have found a shop to paint my car and its kind of a friend of a friend. He came and looked at the car. I have all the interior ripped out and was just getting ready to install the carpet when the guy came to look at the body and he told me since I was changing the color it would save him time and save me money if I waited til they were done painting it. I am going from a red to a dark blue. It just surprised me that he would save me money like that. I guess there still are honest and helpful out there.

 

Sweet. I don't trust anyone to work on my car after I got ripped off. Done everything myself since...

 

Its good to hear that there are some shops that are still about the customer and not the almighty dollar. I guess its easy to be skeptical these days, but when you find that good shop, make sure you let everyone know. Keep the good ones in business!
