How to fix a warped front bumper pocket? PIC Inside

I picked up a front bumper the other day, noticed when I got it home there was a high spot on the bumper pocket area, like a small buldge. Is there any way to fix this as the rest of the bumper is good? It is too big to sand flat IMO. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Mike

a pic would be a huge help here.
showing the damage will get you great help from the knowledgeable guys here.
from the description I'm unsure which part of the bumper you are referring to.

you can make out the high spot right on the edge of the drivers side headlight pocket, id say its actually up a 1/8 of an inch maybe from where it should be. Any ideas how to fix this because the rest of the bumper is mint.

i have the same problem, theres a high spot on the pocket, and the driving light is covered, well half covered.

from what i was told was to heat it up and let it sit. someone else may want to chime in though.

Heat it up with a heat gun, then carefully work it back down with a wooden hammer handle (the end). You will probably need to keep it worked down while you cool the bumper with a wet rag. Then sand it smooth and apply a little filler (like polyester glazing putty), if it's needed.

It is easier off the car I heated mine up with a heat gun slowly and then clamped some small pieces off plywood to hold the shape while it cools.
