Here's the deal.. my uncle sent his car in for a paint job over 8 months ago, and finally the shop is almost done with the job. The right rear spoiler was smashed and beyond saving, and the shop looked around but can't find one. They say that the Z28 ones are different, and that's all they can find. The car in question I'm assuming an RS, with a 2.8 V6. So the question is, since I haven't seen the car in a few years, and haven't previously owned a Camaro is there a difference in the rear spoilers or are they full of it? Thanks in advance.

 

Unless it has the "highrise" version of the standard spoiler, it shoud be the same as a standard Camaro one. IIRC, that one started in 88 though on Iroc's/z28's.

 

As far as I know there is only the regular lip spoiler, Low-rise spoiler (Extremely uncommon) and the high-rise spoiler from later.

 

I wonder if it has the shorty spoiler, I thought they came on the 88's but does it look like this?

 

It's been a few years since I've seen it, but I know it doesn't look like the one in the last pic. From what he tells me, it has the 3 piece spoiler. I'll see if I can get a pic. Thanks again

 

Alright, I finally got time to go over and see the car and take some pics of the spoiler. What are we dealing with here??
