Just checking I have a 1992 firebird and I am going to buy a hood from a 1987 firebird. Do all the years interchange.

 

The standard hoods are all the same . Any hood for a '82 -'92 Firebird , TA , or GTA will fit .

 

Don't feel bad I have a 1987 Camaro with a 2.8, and it's been on 2 HotRod Power Tours and will be going on it's 3rd one in June. I bought the firebird for the V8 at least its a 305. Thanks for the info

I don't feel bad about having a 2.8 I love it and I beat a 5.0 Mustang with it . I wouldn't mind having a v8 350 or Ls put in it but the 2.8 does fine for what I need . Yea I love East TN . Pigeon forge is ok if you like Tourism . It doesn't bother me it's just the job market isn't great and I have been out of work since Feb.

 

Does anyone know the weight diffrence between the factory camaro ( third gen ) fiberglass and steel hoods ?
