Now that it's out do you have any better idea what it is? I've never seen anything that looked like that in one of these cars, so I'm inclined to think it was something that somehow ended up under the seat????

 

if you've ever scraped/scratched something ceramic, that's what this piece sounds like when i do it to that. but I still do not know what it is. I'm sure there's more too.

hi all newby here, fixin ta get my first camaro ever from the wife who has owned it sence 88 it is a 1989 camaro rs with now 47,000 original miles, just waiting to have it towed home from her dads place...any way i was gonna sugjest tasting the stuff to see if it made his tongue go numb....lol....wouldve crapped a big purple brick if it had huh?.....lol
