Power Bulge hood scoop inlet same all years?
Ok guys, is the rear inlet to the power bulge hood the same for the 82-84 TA's and the later formulas and firehawks? I need one for a hood I just picked up and found one that says for 82-84 TA's on ebay. This hood came on an 88' Firebird and the owner doesn't know where it came from (it's a base firebird so could be from anywhere). Are there any differences in it? I'm talking about the removable piece at the rear of the "bulge". I think the only difference is the 82-84 is "open" with a grille and the later ones are blocked off, correct? Thanks guys!

should be the same. I have swapped out these scoops on my 84 with a piece from a later formula hood and no problem with it fitting.
