cowl induction hood

has anyone ever seen a cowl induction with either z-28 hood louvers or blisters on it, i like the looks of a cowl hood and the looks of the z hoods
so i was just wandering what it would look like if you put them both together.

do a search for "daytona hood" and you'll see what you're looking for.

Re: cowl induction hood

i've seen the daytona hood but it's not really the look i'm going for
i guess what i trying to describe is taking a steel cowl hood and adding the z blisters to it

thanks for the reply

Re: cowl induction hood

I've seen similar double decker setups on the Mustang forums... It always looks silly. Pick one or the other and go with it.

I think it would look odd because the stock hoods that have louvers/blisters on them have recesses for them to sit in and the steel cowl would not so they would sit on top of the hood and not be recessed in like the factory hood has them.

Set a pair of blisters/louvers on an RS/berlinetta hood and it would give you somewhat of an idea of what it would look like.

No sweat brotha!

Like I was saying set a pair of blisters on an RS hood, if you like it go for it. At least it will give you somewhat of an idea.

Re: cowl induction hood

I believe it is Hawks that sell repro blisters, that will fit on a flat hood. You could get a cowl induction hood & put those on it.
