Body parts

I was just wondering if someone could tell me if the bumper and fender on a 92 camaro would fit my 86, sorry if this isn't in the right place or it's been asked already but I don't know where to put this.

Re: Body parts

The fender is the same and the bumper will fit but it is cosmetically different, I believe that it's 85-89 that will be identical to your.

Re: Body parts

All 85-92 Camaro front bumpers are identical as long as they are from a car with ground effects. The fender are the same but 91-92 fenders have different ground effect holes.

So ill just have to customize the ground effect holes in order to fit it? I noticed the front bumpers are almost identical, there's only a slight difference which is what I guess you could call the grill.

Re: Body parts

If you've got an '86 the '92 bumper and fender will bolt up perfectly. The front bumper will be exactly the same so your lower spoiler and grill will bolt up with no problems.

The only thing you'll have to do is add ground effect holes to the fender. The 91-92 fenders have slots for mounting the lower spoiler and the 85-90 lower spoilers used holes. The slots will be hidden once the spoiler is mounted so they won't be visible.
