Passenger window replaced by me

Ok some wise guy decided to smash in my passenger side window and rip out my deck. Bummer. I called around and got an estimate. $160.00 plus I would have to get it re-tinted which would add about another $30 - $40. No thanks. My passenger door was pretty dented when I bought the car so I decided to go find a better door and swap the windows. I found the door, it was red and the window was good and tinted! $40 bucks. Only one problem, my windows are power and this one was manual. Easy swap right? WRONG! It took me about a day and a half worth of work to do it! Here's what I did...
1. Pulled the old door.
2. Stripped the interiors off of both.
3. Removed the window from the manual motor or gear.
4. Removed motors from both doors. (Hardest part!!!!)
5. Placed powr motor in new door.
6. Switched locks.
7. Attached the new window to the power motor.
8. Replaced my interior on the new door.
9. Put new door back on the car. (2nd hardest part!!!!)

Seems pretty cut and dry but man! The motors/gears are held to the door by some bolt rivet thingys that are not meant to come off! I had to grind some of them off and the rest kind of punched out with some rough persuasion. Then I had to find blots and nuts small enough to work when I put them back on! Plus the space to work in was very small. It worked out pretty well though and I am proud of the work I did and that I did it by myself. I couldn't take any pictures of the process because they stole my camera too! I got a new one now and I will post some pics when I'm finished painting it. I just have one problem and therefore one question. My door doesn't close properly unless the window is down just a bit. I dont know what year the new door was off of but are the windows a slightly taller size on some years?
