I need help with a paint scheme for my 86 Berlinetta
Hi All,
My project Camaro is going in the shop for exhaust, bodywork and paint at the end of the month. A father and son team are helping me wrap up the work on this car. The father is doing the mechanical work (intake swap and install the used full exhaust that I bought on Craigslist) and the son is doing the body work and painting it. It's a California car and has no rust.
Here are some pics of the car. But since the pics were taken, I've finished installing the black interior and new to me gray seats. I replaced the racing belt with black seat belts and the hatch was replaced with a glass hatch.

The car is going to be painted bright white with charcoal gray stripes. Except for the colors, I'm thinking about something similar to the style below...

More pics of the green car are here...: http://berlinetta.info/greencar.htm
I was thinking about doing the IROC/Z28 bumpers and ground effects but the Berlinetta style is starting to grow on me. While doing my research on the paint scheme, I saw TONS of IROCS/Z28s and I like being a little different.
Please post some pics of other Berlinetta'a with stripes or cool paint schemes. I'm also open to other suggestions. I wanted to keep the car white so that the painter doesn't have to mess with the door jams and hard to get spots.
Thanks for the help,
Rob

Nice work! Sorry that no one gave you any samples on this thread but in the end you chose the right paint scheme. Where did you get the inspiration for those particular stripes? I like it
