In a month or so i will be painting my trans am 99k black. I have heard of people tinting their clearcoat with black paint before spraying. Is there a pre mixed tinted clearcoat? Is it even worth tinting the clearcoat? I've heard that it gives the car an amazing finish.

 

ive done it both ways, and i cant tell any difference. The only thing tinting clear is good for is to tint tail lights and headlights. If you wanna do it, i wouldnt go over a 4 to 1 ratio over clear to base, more and you will get the dull features of the base coming through
