door handle helpp!?

door handle helpp!?

alright so the doorhandle works inside but not the out side,i looked into the door and saw the rod is off the handle but cant get ahold of it has anyone ever replace the door handle on these camaros?
also its a 1989 camaro

You'll have to remove the door panel to reach the rod.

thanks that answers everything and more,im going to try to pull it off after work,i think one of the bolts are striped on the arm rest >.<
