Welding GFX Holes ?
Well I'm removing my GFX and need to weld shut the holes. What would be the best way to do it? I was thinking about welding in a bolt from the back side, fill in the front and grind it down.
How would you guys do it?

I think you use a piece of copper plate on one side and on the other side weld in a circle filling in the hole. The weld does not stick to the copper plate and you just pull it away when done. Then grind down the weld smooth and your done and ready for the next hole.

Go to a body shop and ask them for some of the punch holes that are punched out before they weld new panels on. They will give them to you. On the back of the flanger head is a hole punch, the hole piece fits nice in the bolt hole. Hold it in place in the hole and mig weld it. Then just grind the weld down and do finish body work. It's really not hard to do. I have seen some people put fiber glass mesh on the inside and fill the outside with good body filler NOT BONDO. I really don't know how this holdsup in the doors?
