88 IROC paint bubbling
I have a few areas where the paint is bubbling up. It's rust of course, right? Has anyone got rid of rust that hasn't come back? Any testimonials.

Yep most of the time its rust and it was for me. Sanding and wire brushing the rust off worked for me so far. Don't be afraid to go farther than what the area of rust is. I sanded about a good 1/3 inch from the rust to make sure there wasn't anything more that can make it come back.

POR 15 is good for stopping rusty/crusty areas from getting worse, cutting the rust out and replacing is better, that's really the only way to stop it in most cases.

spot sandblasting has worked the best for me....really gets ALL the rust out of the pits....sometimes i go over it with por 15, but mostly i just prime and paint and it doesn't come back....I like to use the por 15 under the car........really great stuff!
