83 berlinetta hood issue

Engine: 355 sbc
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: posi 7.5 3.42
83 berlinetta hood issue
ok so im assuming its a common proble for the hoods on the berlinettas to have a large gap between the front bumper and the hood. i didnt know if there are any simple fixes and i plan on buying a 4" fiberglass liftoff cowl hood is there anything inparticular i should for look for thank you for any advice

I just took mine off and put a new one on and i haven't had any issues with either.
