Correct alighnment for front end and front fenders?

I just wanted to ask you all if you know how to align the front end and the two front fenders, see I replace one fender and removed the front end to work on adding some fog lights and some other things and bought a new SS hood for my 91 but when I put everything together I can't seem to get things to line up. Is there a trick to this, oh and the fenders have some slots on the front so the front ground effect slips in but I can't get it to fit the rubber moldings it has to fit in the slots look to big dose anyone know who to put this together???
