Replacement struts for L05 hood.
I have installed a factory funcional LU5 fiberglass hood (from an '82, I think) on my '92 RS and need to replace the struts. Struts made for that hood list as discontinued. Does it matter which ones I buy? They list a few choices. Thank you for any help you can give me.

FYI: When the steel hood struts start to suck, they are perfect for thes SMC (fiberglass) hoods. If yours kinda suck, then just use them, or grab a set at the junk yard. Also, try NAPA if you want new ones specific for the 82-83 SMC hoods.

Hmmmm..............The Dorman/Help and others only show one kind of hood
support.
