Rear Hatch weatherstrip 1AAuto
I have a question regarding the rear hatch weatherstrip I purchased for my 87 IROC Z Camaro. I purchased item number WSX-00188 77-92 Trunk Seal from 1AAuto in which I selected the year of my car. Upon installation, I started from the rear of the hatch in front of the rear hatch motor. I worked my way around and found it is about 12 inches too short. This is not normal as the weather strip ends should be touching end to end on top of the license plate area in front of the rear hatch motor. Am I correct? I have a empty gap that covers the length of the plate with no weatherstrip.

Re: Rear Hatch weatherstrip 1AAuto
Give me a call ASAP!!!!
We were alerted by another customer that a vendor of ours was sending a seal that was too short and we're still trying to find everyone who's been affected.
Yours should NOT have any gap, this is a problem we're working to fix.
Sorry for any inconvenience
***To anyone else who purchased one of these from us recently, if your seal is only 14-15 feet long, it is the wrong (shorter) seal. please let me know and I'll work to fix the issue for you.
