Iv been working on a set of fenders and i noticed that both fenders have stretch marks or im seeing things? like a mild dent. all attach a pic of the area so you know what im talking about, but its like this on both the drivers and passenger side fenders i have. it waves a bit if you move your head when looking at each area if it where just in one spot on a fender i wouldn't bother posting since i already know what it is, but maybe iv over looked this and only have noticed now since im trying to get the body perfect, so is there some type of stretching there that creates a small wave in the panels?

Re: Factory stretch marks in fenders ?
The fenders have three body lines coming together in this area that did cause the metal to stretch when it was stamped. All 3rd gens have these marks, but most people have never noticed. I removed mine as I do dent removal. I am that ****. By doing this, you are doing what's called over restoration. Unless yours are more extreme than most, I'd let it go.

Hard to see in that pic. Can you enlarge/zoom in those areas in the pic?
