Engine: 305 CFI
Hood question

Will my hood from my 83 CFI camaro still function if i switched the block out and instead of having a 305 CFI TBI i put in 305 w/ TPI?

It should but I'm not sure I follow, You mean fit of function? as long as the top of your aircleaner or TPI setup doesn't sit higher than the level of the current setup it shouldn't be a problem.

The hood works off of a relay, if the tpi ecm cannot control the relay, than no...but a switch could be wired to control the relay, to make the loovers "wink" on comand, would not be any bennifet except for showing off, also you would not have to floor the gas anymore
