ground effects?

ground effects?

I am new and i just bought a 85 rs camaro. I wanted to know what I need to have this ground affects or lower body kit that it seems like every other third gen has? is this even possible? thank you

Sorry I hate this response but a search will find you all the results you are looking for. In short yes you can but you will need to drill new holes for the ground effects, also if your front bumper has the 3 slits in it you will also need to replace that too I also believe the rear bumper has to be replaced too. I haven't done it but lots of people have. Sorry but this seems to be the most commonly asked question. To the mods here do you guys think it would be possible to make a tech article about adding ground effects and the different mounting points through the years? I would assume that all 82-84 are the same mounting points but not the same as the 85-90 or 91-92 but I would assume in those years they would be the same. I do have a 92 camaro service manual and if I could locate a scanner I would be happy to scan all the pages pertaining to the ground effects and all the mounting points.

I personally like them better without. With some sporty offset chrome rims and a nice paint job with some strips or something it looks alot like the old school muscle cars. Thats what mine has and it sure caught my eye when I saw it for sale because it look so nice. I think it was one of the first I had ever seen without ground effect. But thats just me.
