Instead of trying to locate the rivets and tool used in the original regulator installation on my '83 trans am - I tapped the holes in the regulator 5/16" and used 1/2" long bolts. Worked perfectly. You need to drill out the original holes in the doors slightly, but it made the install much easier. No need to try and reach behind and put a nut on the bolt.
