Car: '83 Camaro Berlinetta
Engine: 305 with aluminum heads, voodoo cam
Transmission: 700r4 auto
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt w/ 3.73 gears
Will this swap over?

I have a 83 berlinetta as u may know. 305, auto tranny. and theres a 1987 v6 (2.8l) camaro for sale. will the fenders and front bumper and radiator core support all fit on my car? i wrecked mine and itd be nice to just swap the parts over..

as long as the 87 doesnt have any ground effects, everything should swap without issue

Regardless of ground fx, it'll all fit. You just might need to drill holes to mount ground fx or fill holes if your not putting any on.

But the radiator core support is not a bolt-in piece, so you would have to cut it out of the donor car & weld it in to yours.

If the body is good (or better than yours is), you could just put your V8 in it & keep going....

front bumper would be different if he did have ground effects on the 87 and not on the 83. it'll fit, but its not a direct match for whats on there (cant reuse the front chin fx)

Yep, they are not direct matches. I only addressed the question..."Will they fit?" Yes they'll fit. No the noses aren't identical, but everything fits.

I just didn't want him to get the impression that the fit depended on ground fx, because it doesn't. Especially since the fenders & the nose would be coming from the same car, making the matching between them a mute point.

lol thx for the advice guys =] and nah, this car is a berlinetta as well, no ground fx. the body isss in better shape, but i like mine better lol. i plan on sellin the rolling chassis of the parts car when im done taking the front off. =]
