91 firebird front bumper(gfx to non-gfx)

i have a 91 firebird and its the ground effects style which is great n all but much to expensive being that im missing the two front fender gfx and i cnt fin them for less than 400 bucks which is jus ridiculous. But anyways...i wanted to take my front bumper and cut the two peices that mold into the ground effects and glassing it back on the underside like the formula bumper. This reason being is because its cheaper than buying a whole other nose cone..and unlike the formula bumper, the gfx one has the fog light bracket which i want to keep. Has this been done, it seems reasonable and easy enough....

if your nose is in good shape, i would sell it and pick up a formy nose. the GFX style noses are almost as hard to find in good shape as are the ground effects.

fiberglass wont stick really well to the plastic nose, and will crack and separate overtime.
