Rear Hatch not aligned
I have an 86 Iroc t-tops car and the other day on the freeway i was the front car of a 5 car fender bender and i had the car behind me hit me not very hard in the back and just pushed the bumper in a little bit, now i noticed the hatch is a little misaligned and my passenger door feels like its sagging when closing. Any help will be appreciated. Their insuranse is going to take care of it but i dont know up to how much they are gonna spend to repair it until they want to total it. It was very small the bumper cover didnt even rip, hit me in the back maybe doing 15 mph the MOST.

Well, i would imagine that the Insurance Company is going to have NO RESPECT for a car that's 24 Years old. They'll total it out. Since it's so old, they'll probably offer you very little. As far as the misalignment is concerned, I don't know much about that. I probably shouldn't have replied to this with Pessimism, but i have no confidence in insurance companies. They're Sneaky and Low-Down.

Have the underside checked and measured. Computer measurement system would be best. From your descrip sounds like right rail may have went down a little. Shouldn't be that expensive to repair. Just let the insurance adjuster know you want to keep the car and show him any receipts that you have for improvements or maintenance. That should help his value of your car.
