A cat-back exhaust system is the best way to clean up the exhaust note without spending a whole bunch of money. I would also recommend getting a high flow cat or gutting the one you have. If it's original it's probably starting to clog messes with the exhaust note and also restricts the engine. BTW, what engine do you have? A 305 I assume? Anyway I'd recommend summitracing.com to get exhaust stuff, they've got good prices and a great selection. If you've got cash the Borla exhaust system they have is awesome

Thanks for the reply ill clean out the cat this week sometime and visit that site also when I bought the car the guy only had the V6 for her but im going to be working on a 305 here soon or seeing about getting a stroker engine for her.. The original exhuast that is on her now sounds good but gives a little gargle at start up and when she idles a little but if i keep here at around 3k rpm she sounds fine.. I dont know if its something wrong with the exhiast or it needs to be refitted.. But I will go ahead and clean out the Cat..
Gotta anymore information let me know.. Also I just redid the original stario for her now just gotta figure out about the front speakers thats all im doing for now on the inside.. The engine I could tweak more but I dont want to put alot in it since it is a V6 im really looking forward to putting a V8 in her sooner then ever already..

That's just the original exhaust, it sounds kinda weird and it sucks in my opinion. If you put a v8 in you'll probably want to change at least the muffler since it's designed for a v6 and a little more restrictive. If you look under the exhaust forum there's a huge thread on exhaust products with sound clips of different mufflers. That way you can pick one you like.
Good luck
