so i need new left and right side mirrors on my 84 z and they are power mirros not manual but i have the actual housing just not the gutz so im wondering if there is a place to get them or if i would beable to take out the gutz of another power mirror set up and retro fix new glass? any sugestions would be helpful.. thanks!

 

while not available new, you should be able to swap out the guts of any other power mirror on these cars. probably be less of an install headache to just swap out the whole assembly for something from the salvage yard

 

Classic Industries once offered new internals for the power mirrors. http://www.classicindustries.com but you'd probably be money wise ahead to just source replacement working units from a wrecking yard or someone parting a car. Check the classifieds on this site, post a wanted add, search Craisgslist etc.
