Antenna pillar mod

Dont know if its been on here yet, i searched and what i found wasnt really what i was looking for.

I want to get rid of the antenna, and hide it in the pillar on the pass side, sticking out a couple inches or so.

i know they have the hidden antennas on ebay and such, but i want to hide it in the pillar cause i think it would look sharp.

Anyone ever done it before?? or any tips??

Thanks in advance guys

Re: Antenna pillar mod

You could just use the type that adheres to the inside of the windshield, for a totally smooth look outside. Like http://www.uxcell.com/electronic-car...a-p-25914.html. That is just a link I found. I'm sure there are other types without the box in the middle, but that would easily be hidden above the rearview mirror.

Re: Antenna pillar mod

actually i was leaning more towards hiding the stock antenna in the passenger side pillar, with the last couple inches poking out at the same angle as the pillar.

just looking to see if anyone has done it yet, if not im sure i'll just have to do it myself, lol
