I am in the process of restoring an 84 Berlinetta. I recently had to replace the front bumper cover, but the only one I could get was for an 82-84 Z28. I found out that the grilles are not interchangeable, but my question is concerns the parking / turn signal lights. Will 84 Berlinetta parking lights fit into an 84 Z28 bumper? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

Replying to my own post, for anyone else that might have the same question, Berlinetta lights are not as wide. There's about a half inch gap on each side when they're used with a Z28 bumper.

 

The 82-84 Z28 park/turn signals are different than the berlinetta/sport coupe

 

yes, they are not the same, hard to find, i have the same issue, i have thinked on made my own, fiberglass for the box, paint inside aluminium style or stick aluminium, and the lenses, in autozone you can find lenses repair kits, i think that can work, anybody have done something similar?

 

I got a quick question about how you you got the bumper on? I was thinking about putting on a similar Z28 nose clip. You can check out www.car-part.com, this site is of all the salvage yards in North America. Best of luck
