There's a lot of hate for the 4cylinder cars, and the idea of putting a firebird nose on a camaro, and aftermarket body kits... so putting the firebird knight rider body kit and front clip on the front of a four cylinder camaro is likely to cause someone seizures, yes?

The 2.5 car runs and drives, has no rust, and the body is straight with faded paint and only one rear drivers quarter crunch, not major or structural and the front clip needs replaced anyway.

It got nerfed on the front right corner by someone in a parking lot and got the rubber nose cracked and all bent out of shape and the fender ahead of the front tire is flat on the side. The stock flat hood was also a little dinged and now has a giant hole with a dummy blower peeking through it. Really, the whole nose aside from the passenger fender needs to be replaced.

The paint, a sort of bluish silver, is no good. the interior is nice so I won't be gutting it like the tow auction GTA from a few years ago. dark blue, carpet faded to purple but was blue, seats have a sort of tweed looking insert. It's a base model car. '84 I think it is.

Most likely the rest of the car would be armored and machinegun festooned and hosed in matte black.

The question, while not trolling, is if this would be a terrible mistake. Yes it will be an abortion of parts, that's the point. If I get around to doing this it will be wrecking and filling a rust free 2.5 car with a lot of holes as things get bolted to it/painted over/etc. I would be more than happy to sell it to someone that wants to save it as I hear there are not many of these around (cheap if I keep the wheels/tires). I just figured I'd get a second opinion on it before mangling it.

Should have done that before chopping up the 4door cougar, turns out they only made a few hundred of those.

For that matter, anyone have any concepts or ideas for what would look most madmaxy on an Fbody? Machineguns and off road lights are always good, and I'm a fan of expanded metal mesh.

But...but...all those precious original parts!

Actually, I wonder if anyone is around Portland Oregon on here that is looking for parts. I'd rather find the stuff I take off new homes instead of letting it sit in storage.

well, about 15 years ago i was heavily into baseball cards. Everyone had stories of how their mom threw away their collections so long ago that would be priceless now or how they used Mickey Mantle Rookie Cards in the spokes of their wheels to make their bicycles sound like a motorcycle. I think this is the same deal........... That's what MADE those cards more valuable. While tragic, what you're doing will make the other 3rd gens with 4 cylinder engines that much more valuable.
