interesting collections.....i tried to collect third gens but there are so few on the market and not of very good quality.

 

ATTENTION - 2012 IROC now out there! I picked some up today. Guys, I don't think some items are tough to find IF you network a little bit. I went to a Hot Wheels show today, JUST looking for 3rd gens (no, I'm not a Hot Wheels collector and just bought my IROC in Oct of '11) and at that show I bought 16 Hot Wheels and almost all in the blister packs - granted 5 were identical and 1 a variation of the new 2012 release.
Then I was talking to another guy I know and asked him about IROC models or diecast, Just so happens he had 5 IROC 1/24th scale True Value cars - all unique, yes two red but different years and stripes. He had two more but why do I need two identical matches.
I have been searching but this new IROC is pretty cool - red with white IROC lettering - from what I can tell - it is a new mold!

Well, I figured this might be a little high when I first saw it listed. Then a few hours later - GONE. Now, I'm dissappointed. I would have paid this price but relly didn't know what they bring.

how many red "california customs" ones are there?

 

Here are some I got last month at a Hot Wheels show. All in one day. I might go to another show Sunday to look for more.

 

i wish there were shows here. i have to look on ebay and flea markets

 

Wow...I got 2 of these from walmart a few years ago.Couldnt decide which one to get so I got boths.I think they were like 14.99.







I also have the big 1/8th scale iroc model that I built back in 1989

I would buy either one of these form you for at least double what you paid. I do want at least one, and the blue one would be the one I would want more than the black or red.

 

after i collect all the hot wheels, i will start on the others. i have 2 18th scale camaros. 1 of them i am making a replica of my camaro.

 

I have that black big time muscle iroc, and picked this up today. Got 3, one that I opened to enjoy lol

New 85 irocz, no side pipes.

 

Dont have Camaros, but I have the Firebirds covered. I never thought to break them up by gens. Something to try in my spare time

I have a bunch of Firebirds I'm thinking about selling. About 30+ Hot Wheel size, 10 1:18 size, a few other various sizes including a '72 remote control car (not sure of size but bigger that 1:18). If anyone is interested, shoot me a PM and I can e-mail you pics.

 

injust went on to ebay under the diecast section and typed in pontiac firebird and a company called greenlight make 1/18th scale gtas in silvver and black

 

i believe they also make 1:64 scale also. i think i have a grey gta from them still in package
