Re: Door Rattle
have you taken the panel off and inspected it?
Rods in it could be making noise, I think on the other thread i read about the window bumper things deteriorating and the window slapping against the metal every now and then making noise.
Best to just pop off that door panel and shake things around and see what could make noise, and wrap them in something, or place something by them.
I knew someone who put electric tape all in the door in different areas, I cant say how well it'll hold up... But it worked for him.

Re: Door Rattle
Best way is just dive in and pull the inside of the door off and see what it looks like in the inside of the door. Could be that something broke and the broken piece is moving around or it could be that your glass is not being held in place. This video will help you if you need to get an idea on how to remove the internal door panel. Basically take it off and shack the door a little and see if you can't track it down.

Re: Door Rattle
My 91 T-top RS doors would make noise over bumps in the road. But it was clear to my ear that the noise was not inside the door but the door itself.
Strikers and latches were not worn and I replace the pins and bushings with AndyZ28's kit. What was not replaced at the time was the worn out door seals.
With the weight of those doors and the flex of a T-top body it needs the seals to be in good condition to keep them snug. I could hold a little pressure on the door when on a bumpy road and they would not make a sound.
New seals and the noise was all gone.

Re: Door Rattle
I have been trying to stop all rattles in my doors (82 Camaro) and one item
you might check is the inside door handle, its pop riveted on, mine would
wiggle up and down against the inside of the door. The handle is slid on to
the door then the pop rivet is put on to secure it. I took the door handle off
and tightened the clamp portion that slides on to the door then pop riveted it
back on and now it doesn't wiggle against the door. I suspect that over time
the clamp portion of the inside door handle opens from pulling on the handle.
Just a thought!
