Patching passenger side pan...
I need to make a little patch on the bend of the passenger side pan. I looked at the frame rail where it the pan rotted off and there is no flange. Shouldn't there be one there?
Also, will I have to remove the ECM?

Do you have any pics?
Yes, definitely remove the ECM, your radio, and any other control modules (ignition module, EST, etc) just to be on the safe side. None of them likes the voltages and currents welding puts through the body. Takes like, what, half an hour to remove them? As opposed to paying hundreds to replace them...

nevermind to the first part lol. I found the flange. it was just I saw rust packed on the frame rail and thought it was boxed.
