hood louvers Iroc
I had to take my hood louvers off the iroc and was as carful as I could be.I still broke 3 on one and 2 on the other.garbage all under them.Have to repaint the hood top,Is there any way to repair the studs I broke?Plus is there any replacment insulation for the hood?there are chuncks missing and oil heavy enuff to coat your fingers.clean oil too.Wonder how that got there?any guesses?

Epoxy worked on mine when I refinished the louvers.
Try 1A Auto for hood insulation.

Bolt. The epoxy holds the bolt better since it has the bolt head to adhere around - more surface area = better hold.

I epoxed the broken ones with short bolts with nuts and lock washers.replaced the old rubber washers between the louver and hood while at it.Is there anything that I can put on them to bring them back to a dark black that wont crack or flake?

Yeah, Underhood heat was not nice to the Plastic Studs on those, Must be why they went to Metal Studs on the 91-92 Blisters.
I wonder why an aftermarket Company has not reproduced these, they would make a killing. Unless GM won't release the rights?
