inexpensive T/A fog light repair
Don't know if this is the correct place to post this, but.....I Found some aftermarket fog lights @ O'reilly auto parts for 19.99/pair that have lenses, gaskets, and reflector assemblies that will work (with minor modifications) as replacement parts for the factory fog lamps on my 88 T/A. They look (almost) exactly the same, except for the new lights do not have the shield that is in front of the bulb on the originals.
Had to use the original retainers and torx screws (for the lenses) to mount the new assemblies into the stock housings. Also, replaced the female spade @ the end of the ground wire with a new connector which is now secured by a small screw, and replaced the bullet connector @ the end of the wire on the new bulb with a male spade connector in order to complete the repair. I thought about removing the shield from the old reflector and installing it in the new one, but decided against it.
The lights that I bought are made by "Blazer" and they look just like the factory ones from the front. The part # is DF1073KB. Thought this might help someone else here save a few bucks as the lens assembly from Hawks is ~55 bucks for one....
I took a few pics, but have not had time to move them from the camera
to the laptop yet. Anyway, hope this helps someone.

Re: inexpensive T/A fog light repair
I don't know if they changed design, or what, but the Blazer fogs I got are crap. The lens is nice and glass, but the reflector is separate from it and not very shiny at all. I wound up not even trying to put them in my stock housings, because the reflector and housing aren't even one piece. Maybe I will just try to separate my stock ones and polish up and coat the reflectors.

The stock ones are two piece like the blazer ones. I even used the factory tabs on the ends for my new pair because they fit better than the tabs on the blazers. I've got no complains with my blazers so far
