Hey guys, quick question. I was told by a buddy that there is a way to tear down your Trans Am tail lights, clean them and put them back together so they look almost bran new again...true? I have the typical separation from the lens to the honeycomb. I searched for this topic earlier and didn't see it. Also anyone know of a kit or company converting 3rd gen. tail lights to LED? As far as cleaning them out, I would take the whole thing and just fill the things up with a combination of water and baby shampoo (Baby shampoo dries spot-free.) and then rinse them out. Then polish them up with one of those headlight buffing kits. IIRC, there was some company that was going to make a kit for LED conversion on the camaro, but cant remember the name.
