I would like to put a 98 ws6 high rise spoiler on my 98 gta. The original wrap around style is warped , cracked and has a big bubble in it. I feel confident to do the mods required. Just wondering if anyone else has done this before. Thanks ------------------------ TIM ---

 

i didnt mod a 4th gen wing, i bought mine from hawks (had all sorts of problems but you dont want to hear about it) but i have read plenty of people who have done it before. only modification you need to do on the wing itself is to extend the pillars down with fiberglass, as the 4th gen deck lids are curved. also you'll have to drill new holes in your current deck lid to accept the new wing. that i had an issue with lining it up properly because i did it by myself when i was 18 and had no clue what i was doing lol. but it shouldnt be difficult ifyou know how to weld and deal with fiberglass
