aero ground effects

I have most of the ground effects with the front bumper and spoiler being the exception. I used a template to mark the holes to put on my 1984 camaro Berlinetta. Can any one tell me if the the frame rail under the rocker pieces is really needed and if so give me some ideas on alignment and installation.

yeah, the bracket on the rocker is needed, or else that gfx part will have no strength and will probably break off if you accidentally step on it wrong. It needs to be spotwelded on.

Re: aero ground effects

could I use a rivet gun as gm did. I imagine i will have to keep the rockers and rails together to position and mark, then take moulding off to fasten the rails to body. any ideas?
