Hey did GM make a camaro that came with Purple paint job?

 

They did. It was a sort of "Plum" color. I think it was from '90 to '92 somewhere in those years. I think it is the rarest of colors. Dont usually see that color, and when I do, it's been on the RS models of camaro. Never seen a 'bird in that color.

Yes thay did it was in the 90s the code is 91 and the wa# is wa9926 and you may have to sell you car to pay for it I bought a pint and it was $105 bucks so if you are spraying a car then you would need a lest 2 qoarts you do the math and that is just for the base coat no reducer clear or hardner

 

96-98ish had a really sick purple on birds and camaros

 

I dont know if I want to paint it myself or have someone paint it for me.

 

If I were going to fork out this much on paint materials then I would make sure it was done right the firist time so you may wont to pay some one to spray it and you do all the prep work

 

Ill probably get blasted for "sacrelige" by the purists, but mines about to get a coat of gloss black over that purple.......

 

Man that is a lot of work to do a color change but black is great color when it is clean
