Power to manual windows questions.

I've got power windows in my 86 and want to switch to manual.

Are there new manual regulators made or should I find a set in the jy?

Can I use my existing windows?

Is it just a take out bolt in type of thing or is there any modding fabbing that I'll need to do?

Re: Power to manual windows questions.

You can use your existing windows. Check out the manual to power window sticky for photos of the difference in bolt holes- you will have to relocate the mechanisms, but the photos show it clearly. Once you drill out the rivets, you can just bolt in the manual units- you don't have to re-rivet them in. I am looking for some power regulators to swap the OTHER way, so if you don't sell yours, let me know what you want for them. I will be buying new motors, so yours don't have to be working... don't forget to cut a whole in the door panel for the crank, LOL!

Thanks didn't notice the sticky. This car only has 36,000 on it so the regulators and motors should be perfect if you want them. The only thing is I'm up in canada so shipping would suck.
