How to clean windows?
My windows always look streaky. What's the best way to clean them with out leaving streaks? (Type of cloth/spray)
Thanks for any help.

Re: Overspray on Windows. How to Remove?
Just use some lacquer thinner to get the paint off then wash the window normally and you will be fine. Kepe in mind that auto paint is pretty durable stuff and you will have to put some effort into it. If you are extremely careful you can also use a razor blade on stubborn areas. Thinners will not hurt your glass.

glass cleaner as a light lubricant and some patient time with a razor blade. if you go slow and keep an angle, you wont have any problems getting it off. just take your time and make sure you have a nice new blade

there's a product they sell at paint stores called gun cleaner (or gun dip)
Ask them, it's supposed to dissolve modern paints

You can also try razor blades, but use the ones made of plastic. Places like Leevalley sell them. I have had great luck using them for just this purpose.

You should keep it on there.
Photo radar will never recognize you....
Nah
Just some lacquer thinner and some quality razor blades like others have said.

Glass is really hard. Standard razorblades will work fine, and are unlikely to scratch the glass if you take your time.

Just did some touch up spray on a couple places on my car. Masked off pretty good but still got over spray, i used a clay bar for on the paint and a razor blade on the glass, no problem.

Re: Overspray on Windows. How to Remove?
I work at a ship yard and routinely have to deal with overspray on my windows. As the others have said, something for a lubricant (I use windex) and a NEW razor will fix you right up. Don't make the mistake I did one day by trying a previously used razor. I scratched every piece of glass on my car (that I no longer have!) using a 4 day old blade.
As for the and black around the glass... good luck on finding anything that removes overspray from that!
Also I was just talking to a friend last week who said he always uses steel wool as Travis401 mentioned.

On the black rubber i beleive naptha thinner will take it off, but be very careful getting it on the paint. And dont leave it on the rubber too long, it will swell the rubber.

Actually i discovered that Brake Cleaner removes paint fast and easy! I even had direct over spray on the windows and a light coating like you,and it removed it very well

Re: Overspray on Windows. How to Remove?
I saw it mentioned, but it wasn't blatantly clear....
On the windows, use new razor blades and plenty of them on a wet window. Never run a razor blade on dry glass as you can scratch them easier. Wet glass and fresh blades will do a great job. If you have overspray on other areas, a clay bar also works well. Again, have plenty of lubrication on hand and you'll be fine. I don't know about the rubber areas so if the others say it will work without damaging it, I say try it.
