Pop out a dent in the nose?

I've enclosed pics of my front nose which has a dent in it. My question is can this be pulled out or at least made not to look so gawdy. I tried pushing it up from underneath to no avail. How would you remove dent from plastic? Any suggestions?

the nose is plastic, if nothing is torn, it should pop out. If its been bent like that for a long time, it may not come out completely if at all.

i doubt you can get completely behind that part of the nose without removing the nose from the car.

I couldn't exactly get behind it I just went through the nose from the bottom. There was enough of an opening to get a pry bar up there to try and push it out. Which didn't do me any good. Pop it out and it pops right back in.

maybe try a heat gun or blow dryer BUT DO NOT GET TO CLOSE TO PAINT get the plastic nice and warm and if can get something under that part to hold dent part out maybe it will take shape again but idk if it will work or not

Re: Pop out a dent in the nose?

well that certainly couldn't hurt. I'm not worried about the paint. It's chipped, cracked and broken anyway. Plus I'll be getting a new nose and new paint next year. Just figured I'd try it so it wouldn't start to resemble a catfish face like an geo storm. I may need to replace the part that supports the nose that's in front of the radiator because it's bent in a little on that side.

You should remove the nose from the car and use a heat gun to reshape the area.
