drive, i have the cheaper non greaseable kit in my car and i was pleased with it. one thing i sugguest, ither go to your local parts store or get one thru Lon at TDS, the door spring tool. getting it out is no issue, going in, thats a whole diff battle.
be sure to have the WHOLE spring in the jaws when re installing.

I also used the non greasable kit from Top Down Solutions and worked great and having the door spring tool is some really good advice.

I have the TDS kit in both my dorrs and havent had one ounce of trouble with them in 5 years. My doors also have dynamat in them so they are a bit heavier then a stock door.
Re: ANYBODY EVER SEEN A BUSHING / PIN KIT FOR UPPER HINGES
I got the full greasable kit from Lon/TDS for both doors last week. Only did the driver's side door over the weekend. I wound up having to take the door off to grind out the uppen pins (or whatever crap GM wants to call it). Got door reinstalled with just a little help from my father-in-law. Works great, and I haven't even greased it yet! Did discover that the spring is missing. Probably from the previous owner.
The OEM bushings in mine were practically gone! I had just enough of the upper bushings to see that there were some at one time.
I thought about the non-grease kit, but decided to opt to spend the little extra and get the really nice stuff.
Just FYI, I used quite a few discs on my single speed dremel. I also used a hammer chisel (without the hammer...the bit was left in my shop by a previous home owner), a punch and an angle grinder w/4" disc. Unless something is really out of whack, the kit from TDS should have all the instructions and answers. If you run into problems or have questions, Lon responded to my e-mails very quickly, which is one of the reasons why I bought through him.
