Sub Frame Install UMI ?
I need to install my UMI sub frame connectors. The instructions say to load the suspension. I am guessing someone here has some tricks to do this right and I was hoping for some suggestions.
Here is what I own I can probably borrow more.
2 jack stands
2 Jacks
1 dual post lift
2 ramps

Easiest way in your case would be to put the front wheels on the ramps, and then jack up the rear and put the jackstands under the rear axle. Unless your lift is the drive-on type, or is capable of supporting the car by the front control arms and the rear axle.

This is what I got. Your plan is what I thought of doing but I was gonna raise it up then lower it down onto the stands and such so I can easily try to get the height level.

I agree using the lift to set the car on the ramps and jack stands is the best way to do it. To use a lift for SFC's you really need a drive-on type lift.

What i did was pick it up on the lift. Mock up where they go to get the paint off. Then put a cinder block under each wheel and lowered down onto them so the car was perfectly level. Then i welded them in about 50-75% of the way in, then lifter her back up and finish welded
