hi, i was wondering if anybody has tried the floor repair panels that jc whitney sells for 82-92 camaros. they say that they are molded to fit right over the existing floor panels which i have no intention of doing.was wondering if anyone has used them and if they are thick enough to use to replace the floor or if theyre too thin to be used without the old floor underneath. i was considering buying one for the floor of my car but would like to know the thickness rather than buying one and finding it to be too thin and having to deal with returning it because it wouldnt work for what i needed it to.(need to replace most of the drivers side floorpan)
