I saw it too.He was thrown from the car and seen sliding down the road and almost run over by another car.It seemed to me he was doing well over 65mph which they estimated. That car was hauling *** when he hit the slope. He had to be doing at least 100mph.

When they did the ramp test the car was going 65. The guy said he had to adjust for the increased speed the Firebird was going. The car without a doubt would have made the height needed to go 12-14 feet in the air. They estimated his body impacted the road at 62 mph. The car took all the impact and slowed his body down before he started is free fall.

I agree with the the car taking the impact and slowing his body down before it hit the road. When they jumped the car it didn't even go ten feet in the air though. The car was easily 14-20 feet in the air and did you see the distance it traveled before it hit? I didn't see the whole thing but how did this happen anyway? Was it a chase?

Yea, I saw the footage this weekend on one to those shows on TrueTV, "20 Worst Car Crashes". I was going to post the video until I saw someone already had. Some of the additional news footage posted on YouTube shows the remains of the disintegrated car, can't beloved the guy live!

Clearly this was a FreeJack operation gone wrong.

Either that, or KITT is getting up there in mileage.
