Would the T-tops from an 85' Bird fit into an 88'?
Just curious, I found some cheap 85' T-tops on ebay that I would buy for spares, and was wondering if they would fit into my car.

Ok but I thought there were different latches and pin sizes. Like the earlier ones have hooks and the later one have large pins holding the hatches in.

some have locks where you turn the key cylinder to open it and some just have a lever that's the only difference I've ever seen

You need to make sure the tops aren't the older hook latch style. The pins on all pin-type tops will lock into the retainers on the body (larger "pins" on later tops are merely retractable plastic covers).
However, I had a set from an 85 I nabbed for use on my 87 (got a bunch of crap that day plus the tops for $30! Best day I've ever had at the yard).
