Question about front bumper on an 84 z28
Hey guys, I just bought my 84 z28 about a month ago and it was missing the front spoiler. I'm confused as to whether the front bumper on it is the original 84 z28 bumper or if a previous owner put a later model bumper on it.
I want to make sure I buy the right spoiler for it. I'm confused because the pictures of other 84's that I've seen seem to have more pronounced angles on it and a front license plate area that is flush with the rest of the bumper as opposed to newer bumpers that have more rounded and less pronounced angles and more recessed license plate area.
I've attached some pictures of it. If they're too dark I can take more. Thanks for your help!

It's a bumper from a '85 to '92 Z/28. Or a '88 to '92 RS

Re: Question about front bumper on an 84 z28
Both Z/28 bumper styles are cool IMO. Since you already have it installed and it's a PIA to replace I think you should just keep it and paste on a new airdam.
You have two choices. The '85 to '90 Airdam or the '91-'92 style with the scoops on the side.
Neither will match up exactly with the '84 GFX under the doors but I think the '85-'90 style would probably look better on your car because of the smaller ground effects.
Either way you will have to drill some holes in the fenders.
